The Polar Express Train Ride in Spencer, North Carolina, rolls out on select evenings between November 16 and December 22, 2018. Climb on board and enjoy hot chocolate and a cookie while being entertained by characters inspired by the Polar Express movie. We’ll visit the North Pole before ending the 70-minute experience at Candy Cane Lane, where you can enjoy a variety of family activities.

All passengers aboard THE POLAR EXPRESS receive a golden ticket, hot chocolate, a cookie, and a silver sleigh bell delivered by Santa as he comes through the train.  

Standard Class service features padded bench seating in coaches.  

Deluxe Class service is in individual coach seating and includes a souvenir plastic tumbler and a treat bag for every paying passenger.  

First Class service is offered in two-person and four-person table settings and includes a ceramic mug and treat bag for each person.  

Our ultimate service is Parlor Class, where you’ll enjoy four-person booth seating, hot chocolate in a ceramic mug, special treat bags, and one copy of the Polar Express book for each booth.  
Standard tickets are $38 each for adults and $32 each for children 2-12.  

Deluxe tickets are $48 each for adults and $42 each for children 2-12. Two-person tables in First Class are $120 per table. Four person tables in First Class are $240 per table. Four person booths in Parlor Class are $325 per table. Everyone aged 2 and up requires a ticket. No add-on seating is available for tables or booths. All seating is assigned. North Carolina sales tax and a ticket handling fee apply to all tickets purchased.  

Trains operate completely on the tracks of the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, North Carolina, located midway between Charlotte and Greensboro. Tickets purchased by phone or online are valid only for the Spencer, North Carolina, location and cannot be refunded or exchanged for any reason. Trains operate rain or shine.
