Memorial Day Parade

The NC Memorial Day Parade and Celebration in Thomasville, NC is the largest one in the southeastern United States. 
The Parade is at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 28. The parade starts at the Big Chair on the corner of Main St. and Salem St., featuring 100 American Flags carried by Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Veterans. 
Military vehicles and equipment, along with many veterans groups, will be highlighted in the procession they continues to Memorial Park and Cushwa Stadium.  
Free hotdogs and drinks are available at Cushwa Stadium. The highlight of the celebration at the stadium is always watching the paratroopers jump into the stadium between 12:15 p.m. until 12:30 p.m. 
If you love this country and support the men and women who wear the uniforms that keep us free and safe from harm, join them. Come together honor the memory of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the love of our country. 
It’s a day that you won’t soon forget. Honor them by honoring us with your presence.
