We are located in the John Thomasville Visitors Center, where you can access brochures, visitor guides, maps, Thomasville souvenirs, local event information, and much more.

Monday - Friday 9:00AM to 5:00PM (sometimes closed for lunch from 1:00 - 2:00)
Thomasville Tourism Commission holds monthly meetings that are open to the public. They are scheduled for the 4th Tuesday of every month at 8:30 AM at the Thomasville Aquatics and Community Center: 20 Stadium Dr. Thomasville, NC 27360. The Commission does not meet in July or December.
MEET OUR DIRECTOR
Cameron Marsden, Tourism Director
Cameron has been the Director of Tourism in Thomasville for 6 years. She is originally from High Point where she graduated from Southwest Guilford High School. She attended UNC Greensboro for her undergraduate degree where she obtained a degree in Political Science and Sociology while minoring in English. She went on to earn her master’s in public administration from UNC Charlotte where she concentrated in non-profits. She returned home to High Point after obtaining her master’s degree and has been back for over 10 years. She has deep ties to the area, mainly from her Quaker roots attending Deep River Friends Meeting. Cameron has worked in non-profit management for 15 years now. She has a passion for helping others and enjoys being civically engaged. This engagement can best be seen through her devoted tenure to the High Point Jaycees with which she has held a board position for 10 years, including Presidency. She currently serves on the boards of the Thomasville Rotary Club, Davidson County Parks and Recreation, and High Point Parks and Recreation, where she is in her fourth year of service. Cameron enjoys being a quasi-foodie, especially focusing on Asian cuisine and continuously learning about and tasting new wines. Cameron is married to her husband Bryan, and they have a 5-year-old daughter, Evelyn Ann, a 1-year-old daughter Iris, and their dog, Sir Winston. She and her family enjoy time outdoors and can often be found frolicking on their plot of uninhabited land in Wilkes County near Stone Mountain.

Donna Orman
Book Keeper
Thomasville Native, Small Business Owner, and Community Enthusiast, Donna Orman is a proud Thomasville native and small business owner who is deeply invested in the town's growth. Her friendly demeanor has made her a beloved face to visitors, while her extensive knowledge of the community's history makes her an invaluable asset. As the owner of Booking Pro Plus, she excels in keeping our books in pristine order. During her downtime, she enjoys shopping downtown with her sister Cheryle, attending Thomasville events, and spending time with her Yorkie puppy.
Abigail Walker
Marketing Coordinator
Abigail Walker is the Marketing Coordinator for Thomasville Tourism as well as a small town Business owner of ABBSolute Photography. Her family's roots run deep in the community, and her passion for promoting Thomasville comes from generations of love and service to the city she proudly calls home.
Her grandfather, Nathaniel P. Walker, faithfully serves as "The Keeper" of the City Cemetery, a place that holds profound meaning for her family, as it is where her brother, Joshua Paul Phillips Walker, is laid to rest. Her grandmother, Carolyn A. Walker, has shared her love to Thomasville in a different way, leaving a lasting impression on the community through her one of a kind artwork creating pieces that reflect the city's beauty, history, and Southern charm. Her family's legacy of service reaches back even further. Her great-grandparents cared for generations of Thomasville families as local physicians, and the downtown bandstand stands as a tribute to her great-grandmother, Pauline Phillips Walker, honoring a family whose commitment to Thomasville has spanned generations.
Growing up surrounded by her family’s creativity inspired Abigail to preserve Thomasville's beauty through her own lens, combining photography with storytelling to celebrate the people and places that make the city unique. She considers it an honor to help preserve Thomasville's history while sharing its story with future generations. Today, Abigail lives on her family's farm where generations are rooted in faith, family, and hard work. Together, they are proud to pass those same values down the line.
Christy Cromer
Office Manager
Christy Cromer is a devoted wife, mother, and artist with Thomasville roots. Born and raised in the community, she spent her childhood attending church in Thomasville with her grandparents and developing a love for the town's rich history and timeless charm. Her family's connection to Thomasville runs deep through the city's renowned furniture-making heritage. Her beloved uncle Ronnie spent most of his life crafting beautiful furniture at the former TFI company as a cnc machinist and programmer, creating pieces that Christy still owns and cherishes today. She has a passion for antiques, values family above all else, and enjoys expressing her creativity through art. When she's not working, gardening or creating, you'll often find her with her husband Jason spending time with their beloved Pomeranians and Yorkies or going to estate sales with her dad Danny. Her appreciation for history, family, and community shines through in everything she does.
