In 2010, Blythe initiated the Thomasville High School Design Club. Eight years later, Blythe reflects on where she has come from and where she has been. Upon visiting the THS Design Club recently and speaking with the students, it came to Blythe's attention that they need specific training, much like Blythe received at Savannah College of Art and Design. In order for the students to be competitive in today's design world, the education of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and more is profoundly a minimal requirement to say the least. THS Design Club has been donated canvases by our wonderful local artist Dana Holliday to create works of art to be auctioned off at Blythe Leonard LLC, among some other local artists' works. Blythe's goal is to raise $1,800.00 to purchase the art department two tablets and design programs in order to begin training the students.
If you would like to donate any artist supplies between now and May 25th, we would love to accept your donations at Blythe Leonard LLC and give you a 15% off discount in the store.(Excludes customs)
