2024 Thomasville Stars Night

Thomasville Stars Night 2024 Recap

Unsung heroes are the backbone of our communities, often working tirelessly behind the scenes without seeking recognition or praise. These individuals, whether they are emergency responders, healthcare workers, teachers, or volunteers, consistently go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of others. Despite their significant contributions, they rarely find themselves in the spotlight, instead finding satisfaction in the positive impact they have on those around them. It is important to acknowledge and celebrate these unsung heroes, whose quiet but powerful efforts are essential to the well-being and resilience of our communities.

2024 Thomasville Stars Night, held on June 11th at Finch Field, was an evening to remember. Hosted by Thomasville Tourism and the High Point-Thomasville HiToms, the event celebrated nine unsung heroes within our community during a thrilling baseball game.

The night began with a beautiful ceremony honoring a beloved HiToms fan and Thomasville Tourism visitor, Warren King. The heartfelt tribute set the tone for the evening, reminding everyone of the strong community spirit that binds us together.

Gates opened at 5:30 PM, and the excitement was palpable as families, friends, and baseball enthusiasts filled the stands. By the time the game started at 6:30 PM, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation. The evening was filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of fun for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this wonderful evening celebrating our “starting lineup” and honoring our community's unsung heroes.
