The next season is upon us, as we begin to close our doors to beach chairs and picnics we will soon be welcomed with the changing of the leaves and cool autumn breezes. Some say this is their favorite time of year. Fall festivals, monthly barn sales, pumpkin spice and kettle corn. Carnival rides and lawn chairs. As the season changes, so do the events.

Every furniture item and decorative piece at Fancy Finds' retail outlet is special. Timeworn items have been donated, and many personally repurposed into something beautiful and unique.
Just as new life has been breathed into these items, 100% of the proceeds generated from Fancy Finds variety of services goes to enrich the lives of children, aging adults and families served through Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina.
Fancy Finds has been busy setting up for their opening next Thursday 9/5 Friday 9/6 and Saturday 9/7. Their hours are 9-5 Thursday and Friday and 9-3 Saturday.

Art Davidson County is seeking artists to participate in the Young at Art Show, celebrating artist 55 years and older. This non-juried, open call show is a chance for artists 55+ of all experience, styles, and mediums to participate in an art show.
The reception for the Young at Art Show will be Tuesday, September 10 | 3 pm-6 pm | Unity Place Piedmont Crossing - 100 HEDRICK DR, THOMASVILLE, NC
A few rules for participating in the Young at Art Show:
1) Art Must be dropped off on September 9th between 3 - 7pm at Unity Place at Piedmont Crossing.
2) Artist must be 55 years or older to submit
3) Artists may submit a maximum of 2 pieces, sizes not to exceed 2 ft x 3 ft and should fit on an 8x10 table. Larger sizes, please bring your own easel.
4) Artwork should be submitted ready to display.
5) Any medium is acceptable.
6) Artists must complete an inventory sheet when dropping off their pieces.
7) Art sales will be made between artist and buyer
8) Artists should plan to pick up their artwork right after the show September 10th at 6pm
9) Arts Davidson County & Piedmont Crossing are not responsible for lost or damaged art.

LET’S HAVE AN ADVENTURE
Introducing a brand new event, let’s welcome Everybody’s Night. Thomasville Tourism Commission is hosting for the first time this year a night time kickoff to Everybody’s Day. Come out and see great music, enjoy those vendors that you have grown to love on the night before Everybody’s Day. Beer and wine garden and local shops made available for your enjoyment.
For more than 100 years, Thomasville, North Carolina has been the home of the award-winning Everybody's Day festival.
Saturday, September 28, at 9 AM – 5 PM shop for arts & crafts, enjoy music, carnival rides, and carnival food! Entertainment includes, live music of all genres. So gather your friends and family, walk West Main Street while meeting your neighbors and the welcoming vendors who come from the all over the Southeast area to share in the oldest street festival in North Carolina.
